Descripción The report begins by describing the present housing situation in Nicaragua. It then comprehensively reviews the housing policies and programmes that have been developed and implemented over the past twenty-five years, with particular focus on the Multi-Phase Low-Income Housing Program, which was designed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and approved in late September 2002. The report also includes a review of the present situation with respect to the right to adequate housing in Nicaragua.
